As a Santigold fan, this isn’t the news I wanted to hear, but this does prove that she is alive and working. Instead of being treated with new music we get word that she’s collaborated with VANs to put out a limited pair of sneakers that will be released in February of this year. The sneakers take on the Tosha Hi silhouette while Santigold lends her personal style to dress it up with the help of jewelry designer Jules Kim of Bijules. But fans of music fret not, it is said that her album is suppose to drop this year, hopefully we’ll get a sneak preview soon enough.
