Para One wears the directors cap for this video for his single “Lean On Me” which features Teki Latex. The song is just a glimpse of what you can expect from his upcoming album, Passion, which currently has a June 11th release date. The video was shot throughout Tokyo and shows a couple on a double date of sorts, and each of the characters experiencing something new, something the lyrics speak strongly to. Below the video is the remix from Salva that’s available for free.

I’m generally not a huge fan of mash-ups, but one duo that consistently catches my ear is The Hood Internet. Today marks the official release of their sixth mix and features some of their best mash-ups from the last few months, though it’s too bad they weren’t able to get the recently released Purity Ring x A$AP Rocky song on the mix. No complaints though, as always a solid mix of jams you recognize and jams you may not. Stream / download below, tracklisting after the jump.

Yes I realize that technically we’re a week late on this mix, but we wanted to do the yearly Sasquatch! Music Festival edition mix early. In years past we’ve released these closer to the festival, but decided to give everyone a chance to digest a handful of the artists that we’ve selected to be on this mix. For this mix we tried to avoid featuring bigger, obvious acts that you should catch at the festival and tried to hone in on more the ones that you may not be as familiar with. Of course that failed, as we did use some tracks from bigger acts on the mix, but it was a good balance in the end. As you could imagine, this mix was probably one of the hardest ones to put together simply because the acts are so different from one another and there were a lot of heavy string based bands, which makes it harder to mix, but I think we did our best. So with that, please enjoy the latest mix and hopefully you hear some new bands that you dig.

Holy fuck. It’s about time we get something new from Twin Shadow. I’ve been actually hoping to hear something new from him soon and here we are, treated to the first song called “Five Seconds”. The first album Forget is one of my all-time favorites and it’s been awhile since we’ve heard from George Lewis Jr. But now we can all take a breathe as a new album, titled Confess, is scheduled for a July 9th release.

RAC drops his first official single called “Hollywood” on Green Label Sound. The track features Penguin Prison on the vocals. I actually had thought RAC had dropped singles before, but I guess not, because everything I can think of from him was a remix of somebody else’s song. This is a solid single with dancey pop vibes laced all over it. Green Label Sound continues to impress by working with great talents.

Seems like all week we’ve been posting videos. Just so many good ones out lately. The latest is this “Goldie” video from A$AP Rocky that’s also a not-safe-for-work video, as it has brief moments of nudity. I haven’t been listening to a ton of rap as of late, but A$AP Rocky has really changed that for me. The production on his tracks are just so damn good and with lines like “N**as talk shit til they get lock jaw, chrome to your dome til you get glock jaw”, delivering such an imagery. Hit “more” below to watch the video.

You’re about to watch an extremely not-safe-for-work video from Max B, Isaiah Toothtaker and The Hood Internet for the song “Champion Cuffer”, which is from the collaborative album Toothy Wavy that’s being released by Mishka. The video has vintage porn mags and the lovely Kristin Bracamonte doing a strip tease that takes my blood pressure from high to nearly dead. Hit the link below to watch the video.
