Admittedly I was only lukewarm about The Rapture’s “Sail Away” track. I mean I initially liked it but not on repeated listens, but that’s now changed. The Rapture are set to release the official remixes for “Sail Away” and what a handful of great remixes there are in this EP. It features remixes from Aeroplane, Cut Copy and my favorite remix of the bunch Cosmic Kids. The Cosmic Kids remix really stood out for me as it was so different from the original and such a different interpretation than the other two remixes on the EP.

Available for purchase is the compilation album from Aeroplane called In Flight Entertainment. The compilation album itself is pretty friggin good and it’s hard to stop listening. What’s actually somewhat surprising is that the compilation isn’t overloaded with his own material which a lot of other compilations tend to do. One of the stand out tracks on the album though for me is “Memories Of The Future” by Oliver. U-Tern and Oligee once again do not disappoint and put together an amazing track that must be heard over and over.
Got sent this from Vancouver DJ, Blondtron. This is a new mix from a side project that herself and Ned Kelly called Star Xrossed Lovers. The mix doesn’t follow any one path asides from making you want to party, music is taken from various different genres and put together cohesively. Worth giving it a listen to.

Somehow I’ve missed this track last week. So many releases came out last week in honour of DJ Mehdi. This is a great track from Vito of Aeroplane. He also had these words when posting up the track:
